Refund Policy

At swift lease, we strive to provide our customers with a hassle-free and satisfying rental experience. We understand that circumstances may change, and our refund policy is designed to accommodate our valued customers in such situations.
Refund Eligibility: Customers who have paid for a rental apartment in advance but later decide not to proceed with that particular unit due to personal preferences or reasons unrelated to the property's condition or our services are eligible for a refund.
Refund Process:
1.    Notification: To initiate the refund process, customers must notify us of their decision to change apartments within 5 days of the initial payment.
2.    Property Selection: Customers are welcome to choose an alternative apartment from our available inventory. The selected apartment must be within the same price range as the initially booked unit.
3.    Verification: Our team will verify the eligibility of the chosen alternative and confirm the price match.
4.    Refund Request Submission: Once the alternative apartment is approved, customers will be required to submit a formal refund request, clearly stating the reason for the change.
5.    Processing Time: Refund requests will be processed within 5 working days of receiving the formal submission.
Refund Conditions:
•    The refund policy is applicable only to customers who have paid in advance for a rental apartment and wish to change to a different unit within our available inventory.
•    Refunds are not applicable for reasons related to the condition of the originally booked property or any service-related issues.
•    Customers must comply with the specified timeframe for notification and the selection of an alternative apartment.
Exceptions:
•    Refunds will not be issued for changes to apartments that are not part of our company's inventory.
•    Refunds are not applicable once the customer has moved into the initially booked apartment.

Return & Exchange Policy

1. Return Policy:

1.1 Property Listings: Swift Lease provides property listings for informational purposes only. As such, there is no return policy for property listings. Users are encouraged to thoroughly review property details before making any leasing or purchasing decisions.

1.2 Subscription Services: Users may subscribe to premium services on Swift Lease. If a user wishes to cancel their subscription, they can do so at any time, and the cancellation will take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No refunds will be provided for the remaining subscription period.

2. Exchange Policy:

2.1 Booking and Rental Transactions: Once a booking or rental transaction is confirmed and completed between the property owner and the customer, Swift Lease does not facilitate Immediate exchanges. Customers are encouraged to communicate and give anotice of 1-5 days for special arrangements to be considered with management directly to discuss any specific concerns or modifications to their arrangements.

2.2 Property Purchase Transactions: Property purchase transactions are binding agreements between the buyer and seller. Exchanges are not facilitated by Swift Lease after the completion of a purchase transaction. Any concerns related to the property condition or terms of the purchase should be addressed directly with the management

3. Refund Policy:

3.1 Erroneous Transactions: In the event of an erroneous transaction, such as duplicate payments or billing errors, customers are requested to contact Swift Lease's customer support at support@swiftlease.ug within 7 days of the transaction. Swift Lease will investigate and, if necessary, issue a refund.

3.2 Fraudulent Transactions: If a customer believes that their account has been subject to unauthorized activity or fraudulent transactions, they should immediately contact Swift Lease's customer support for assistance.

5. Changes to the Policy:

Swift Lease reserves the right to modify this return and exchange policy at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes. Continued use of the platform after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
